Dirty Celebrity is a made to order conceptual brand created by twin sisters, Eva and Yvette Estime. We create our work in our studio.

What is the traditional art form or craft that you do?: Yvette: Most of my work centers around crochet and 3D printing. My sister prefers using acrylic.
How old were you when you first learned this art?: Yvette: I have been crocheting for 15 years, but we recently began acrylic for 6 years.
Who taught you this skill? : Yvette: I am self taught. We honed our skills through reading books and trail and error.
How do you respond to criticism?: Yvette: Criticism is a learning process and by receiving it openingly, it can be a valuable tool.
What is the biggest challenge you have faced in your creative career?: Yvette: It can be hard to reach your audience despite the rise social media. You really still need to be out there, knocking on doors.
What creatives do you admire?: Yvette: I admire Betsey Johnson for her creativity, Christian LeCroix for his role of redefining couture and Alexander McQueen for turning the light on the dark.

What are some of the projects you’re working on right now?: Yvette: We are going to Vegas Edge and doing a lot of tradeshows. We are in the process of working with several magazines and photographers.
What is your favorite thing about your craft that you enjoy the most?:
Yvette: The ability to take a concept from a 2D image to a 3D product. Bringing my ideas to life is always the best part.
What is the best advice that you have been given?: Yvette: "Hard work is its own reward".
What do you do to get into your creative zone?: Yvette: I listen to alternative music like Imagine Dragons, Slipknot, Disturbed and Five Finger Death Punch.
